As a recognized expert, “The Captain” has been heard in major media from Coast to Coast AM, VH1, MTV, ESPN, MyOuterSpace TV, and XM-Sirius through a feature on the Chillpak Hollywood Hour by Dean Haglund of the X-Files. As a technologist “The Captain” acquired SciFiction.com, which is a Hugo award-winning SciFi Literary project formerly owned by the SyFy Channel, where he is re-developing the SciFiction Magazine and a global information portal for the science fiction community.

Currently “The Captain” is working on a project with his buddy, the multi-Emmy Nominated, Hollywood producer, Sammy Oriti of MyOuterSpace.com, where Owen has the privilege to collaborate with numerous SciFi legends such as William Shatner, Alan Dean Foster, The Chiodo Bros, John Eaves and Richard Friedman. Owen enjoys Science Fiction, technology and Texas Hold’em poker, where he plays in numerous charity tournaments, including the official World Series of Poker.
